Want to make your lips prettier? Poutier? Softer? Fuller? You can do it with makeup, according to celebrity makeup artist Sonia Kashuk.
To plump up thin lips, trace just the outside of your mouth from corner to corner with a flesh-tone liner.
Now fill in with color, then top if off with an opaque color or several coats of a sheer shade to camouflage the liner, so you don’t overemphasize your mouth; instead just use a creamy, slightly glossy color.
If you have a very tiny mouth and need to pump it up a bit, line your lips just outside their natural perimeter first. Use a cotton swab to blur the edges and top it with a light or medium lip color. You can also blot a dark shade until it’s just a stain. It’s all depends on what and how to use your makeup products.
