Cameron Diaz, the ‘Holiday’ actress, who is famed for her luscious bblonde hair and blue eyes, chose to become a brunette because she was fed up of being followed by photographers. She dyed her hair brown because she thought it would make her invisible to the paparazzi. The “There’s Something About Mary” star and who is promoting her latest film, “Holiday,” says, “I thought having brown hair would help to disguise me a bit. But I was wrong. People could even recognize me even if they just saw the back of my ear. It doesn’t matter what color my hair is, they still notice me.”

Cameron Diaz, who is dating pop heartthrob Justin Timberlake, says she’s thrilled with her new brunette look. She adds, “I didn’t do it for a role, just for me. It’s just how I see myself, as a brunette. My friends all say it suits me. It looks more like me, more natural.”
She says, “I’m a very private person, and I’ve never really sold my life to the public. There was this overwhelming pressure from all sides, and I just didn’t know how to handle it. My dad taught me how to fight when I was a kid. When somebody comes at you, you defend yourself.
